But if ye neglect the tree, and take no thought for its nourishment, behold, it will not get any root; and when the heat of the sun cometh and scorcheth it, because it hath no root, it withers away, and ye pluck it up and cast it out. And there shall be upon every mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter when the towers fall. I will open rivers in high places and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness pools of water, and the dry land springs of water. That they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of the Lord hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it.
